  2. Positive Impact – Giving something to your friends that means something to them.
  3. Negative Impact – You getting worried that they might stop believing in their own religion.

  2. Positive Impact – Seeing your friends spending quality time with their family.
  3. Negative – You see your friends wanting to go out and drink instead of wanting to hangout with family.

What is your culture? – Samoa 

 

What happens in your culture when someone passes away? – 

Before we have the burial, we have the coffin in a room in a house where they lived before they passed. Families come over to the house and see the person who passed and this goes on for a few days until the day they get buried. 

 

What are some important things that happen when a person passes away? – 

Being respectful to the person who passed away, visiting the person and spending time.

 

What is something important we could learn about your culture when a person passed away? –

Being respectful

 

What are 3 ways to help cope with losing someone? – 

  1.  There can be where we can have family or someone keeping us calm.
  2. Praying they will have a wonderful life in heaven.
  3. Taking care of yourself

 

Something important that I want to share about my culture when a person passes away is that we always respect the person who passed away.
